WORK
If an Australian employer has offered you a skilled position of employment in Australia, you may be eligible for an employer-sponsored visa for Australia. Your Australian employer is generally required to sponsor or nominate your temporary or permanent work visa application. Market salary rates must be paid to overseas workers. 
If an Australian organisation or institution invites you to participate in a research project or complete a period of occupational training, you may be eligible for a temporary visa for Australia.

WORKING HOLIDAY PROGRAM
Citizens of the following countries between the ages of 18 and 30 (inclusive) may apply for a Working Holiday Visa: Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong-Kong SAR, Italy, Japan, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Republic of Cyprus, Republic of Ireland, Republic of Korea, Sweden, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.
Swiss nationals are not eligible to apply for a Working Holiday Visa for Australia. There is no Working Holiday agreement between Switzerland and Australia.

Should you complete a minimum of three (3) months of specified work in regional Australia (as defined in the Migration Regulations) whilst on your first Working Holiday, you may be eligible to apply for a Second Working Holiday visa for Australia. WORK PART-TIME WHILST STUDYING
Student visa holders are generally permitted to work in Australia up to 20 hours a week while their course is in session and unlimited hours during scheduled course breaks. Students are not allowed to work until they have started their course. To apply for a student visa, you must be enrolled in a full-time CRICOS registered course of study (minimum of 20 - 25 contact hours per week). We recommend that you contact us at info@aits.ch for assistance to enrol in English language programs; Certificate/Diploma programs (6-18 months); or Australian University Study Abroad (one semester)/Australian University degree programs.
TRAINEE EXCHANGE PROGRAM
for Swiss Nationals
Citizens of Switzerland between the ages of 20 and 30 who have the opportunity to complete a work-based training program with an Australian organisation, may be eligible to participate in the Trainee Exchange Program between Switzerland and Australia.
